I won a story writing contest using the song titles and
artist names from the new Konamix DDR game. The
contest was held by Jason Enos of KOA on DDRFreak.
My prize was the
game and a memory card with all the unlocked songs.

The animal shelter was a DIVE, the building was built at the END OF THE CENTURY. It was like going on a journey to the AFRONOVA PRIMEVAL. Inside, the dogs were barking and you could see their eyes crying BABY BABY GIMME YOUR LOVE. There was SCOTTIE D the corgie, PATSENNER the border terrier, SAMI and NAOKI two bulldog pups and CUTIE CHASER the mutt. I came to stall NO. 9, inside was Widgeon a Brittany Spaniel. I opened the gate, someone yelled,"DON'T STOP!" Widgeon made a GROOVE for me and knocked me over. I went DIVING,MONEY falling out of my pockets. He licked my face and I thought, doesn't he seem BRILLIANT 2U. I paid .59 dollars for a dog that was PERFECT, FREE to come home with me. That night I put ON THE JAZZ station with DJ TAKA and had a DYNAMITE RAVE. I was so happy, when you adopt a dog you CAN'T STOP FALLIN' IN LOVE with him. Through the years, we would go for walks to CELEBRATE NITE, looking for stars, we saw ORION 78 times. Widgeon loved to play tug-of-war, AFTER THE GAME I would MAKE A JAM cookie treat and feed him his favorite SALAMANDER BEAT CRUSH MIX dog food. Widgeon could jump HIGHER than any other dog. Then one day I found him unable to move. MAKE YOUR MOVE Widgeon, he couldn't walk. What's wrong with your legs? LET THEM MOVE, I knew his pain was BURNIN' THE FLOOR. All I wanted to do was MAKE IT BETTER. I took Widgeon to the vet. He said, "I'm sorry I'm going to have to DROP THE BOMB. Widgeon has cancer." An ABSOLUTE WILD RUSH was going through my heart. My emotions ran from PARANOiA to HYSTERIA. I had reached a DEAD END. I asked the vet if I should let him go. He said, " I THINK YA BETTER D." B4U put him to sleep, I need to say goodbye. As I watched him fall asleep, I could see THE EARTH LIGHT fade away. Now when I LOOK TO THE SKY I don't see Orion anymore, I see Widgeon's face. I never knew a dog could give so much LUV TO ME. |
